Friends and House Cleaning
A couple days ago, Savya came over to my house and helped me clean. That was so amazingly sweet of her. We accomplished more in 4 hours than I had in all my days off. There is still so much more to do, but at least I've got one room that I can relax in and not feel bad about. It just about brought me to tears to see my living room all cleaned and organized. I wish I could have her all to myself for a few days. It's not that she did all the work, it was just so much easier to be motivated with someone there. And having an objective eye towards all my packrat collections. It's so much harder to justify why I need to keep this 'thing' to someone else. And if the answer to "Why?" was not quick enough, then I obviously don't really need it. So much easier to do with someone who doesn't live there.
There really is so much more to do. And it's all starting to rely on something else being done. I need to clean up the dining room, but that means a need to find a place to put my winemaking supplies. 5 gallon glass jugs don't just fit anywhere. To really get the bedroom cleaned, I need to rent a truck and get up to Riodoso to get some furniture out of storage. To get all the books in the house put away, I need a really big bookshelf. To get the curtains put up, I need a vehicle that can fit 9 foot poles in it to go up to Los Lunas. Etc., etc., etc. Cascade inertia. We have no tools to make bookshelves, and no place to store the tools if we had them. Never enough money or space.

I have tools, including a router, circular saw, a nice drill, etc, and a garage to work in. I don't have a jigsaw, but I am planning on getting one this weekend. I also have a vehicle you can put 9 foot poles in.
Call me and we can come up with a time to do all this.
